Why We Need To STOP Stimulus Madness Right Now

The US Government has already spent a record amount of 3 trillion dollars in an effort to stimulate the economy. The magnitude of spending is unprecedented as only 2.8 trillion was spent throughout the entire 2008 recession of which very little was spent on stimulus checks. Plus, that was over several years as opposed to just a few months. On top of this, the House Of Representatives just passed another coronavirus relief bill coming in at another 3 trillion dollars which will provide a second round of stimulus checks. It is unlikely that this economic stimulus plan will pass through the Senate; however, it is mindboggling that the US government would even consider spending 6 trillion on stimulus when they are already at 25 trillion dollars of debt with debt surpassing GDP. This video explains the pros and cons of giving out so much money in stimulus checks and why this stimulus check madness needs to stop right now.
