Most of us hate school and many of us would even say that it was torture. A large portion of school is simply memorizing various names, dates, and formulas which we usually forget a week after taking the test. Moreover, most of the concepts and methods we learn in school are never used within our careers; not to mention, we don't learn several crucial life skills like finances and taxes. Many companies, however, have started to offer their own certification and training programs which they value as the same as a 4-year college degree. Hopefully, such programs will lower the absurdly high cost of college/university. On top of this, as artificial intelligence continues to grow, products like the Neuralink implant will allow us to download information into our brains, thus eliminating the need for traditional schooling. This video explains the various changes currently occurring within traditional schooling and how artificial intelligence may impact schooling moving forward.
