And with the expansion of healthcare to everyone, we have also seen extremely high funding proposals such as $32 trillion for 10 years. Though many politicians love to sell us that Medicare for all is the answer, they have yet to provide a funding solution even remotely capable of covering the required costs. Even AOC's 70% tax on high-income earners only raises $2 trillion over 10 years or just over 5% of the total cost. The reality is that companies and billionaires cannot fund Medicare for all alone, and the vast majority of the cost will fall on the head of the middle class.
