SpaceX plans to offer point to point travel using starship within the earth for popular routes such New York to London and New York to Dubai, bringing down travel times to less than 1 hour. Today, such routes take several hours and even upwards of 20 hours on regular jets. Not only does starship offer a faster mode of travel, but it can also carry more passengers than the largest passenger airplane: the Airbus A380. Considering this, it is only a matter of time until Starships takeover the long-distance aviation market given its exponential value proposal. This video analyzes the cost of launching the Falcon 9 in order to estimate how much it will cost to launch starship. Additionally, this video also attempts to predict how much starship point to point tickets will cost and when we can expect starship point to point services to be available.
