In 2016, Elon Musk founded Neuralink in the hopes of building a bridge between our brains and computers. However, over the past couple of years, we have only seen glimpses of their progress here and there, so what is Neuralink even working on today? Well, Neuralink has been working on starting human clinical trials with their n1 implant. With pigs, they have been successful in interpreting neural activity to predict where their limbs will move. Neuralink hopes that they can translate this development to humans in order to potentially reverse various physical impairments. Aside from helping paralyzed individuals, Neuralink also hopes to possibly reverse vision and hearing impairment. This video explains the various projects Neuralink has been working on and the future of Neuralink.
