While this is what Xerox is most known for, Xerox’s contributions are far larger. They’ve played massive roles in the invention and development of graphical user interfaces, laser printers, computer-generated bitmap images, modern text editors, object-oriented programming, computers, laptops, and even the internet. Yet, Xerox is about to be wiped off the face of the planet. Their revenues have been consistently declining for the past 2 decades and they just became unprofitable as well. Even if Xerox is able to regain profitability in the short term, it seems like bankruptcy is inevitable for the company.
