CITIE - new research by Nesta, Accenture and the Future Cities Catapult – tackles important questions such as what city governments can do to spark more innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as offering a framework for designing good policy and assessing the state of the art from 40 cities worldwide. To mark its publication, Index Ventures co-hosted an evening of discussion and debate on how city governments can best support entrepreneurs, and how tech startups are transforming daily city life.
This is the first of three videos from the event. In this video Nesta's John Gibson introduces the study and announces the top 5 cities: New York, London, Helsinki, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
