Many people are on the frontline fighting against corona. Italy has been in lockdown for weeks but paramedic Andrea is still on the road almost every day, doing up to 10 journeys in one shift. Nerea is an intensive care nurse from Barcelona. For six years she has worked nightshifts in the physically and emotionally challenging intensive care unit of her hospital. She is struggling above all with the lack of personal protective equipment in the hospital and with her duty as a nurse. In the AFMB laboratory in Marseille, Ashleigh and her team are carrying out research to help combat COVID-19.
