Being a female business owner is not easy — or at the very least, it's different. In this short film, we hear from African and South Asian female entrepreneurs and learn the unique challenges that they face in starting and running a business. Stanford Graduate School of Business professors, Dr. Margaret Ann Neale, professor of management, Dr. Deborah H. Gruenfeld, social psychologist and professor of organizational behavior, and Allison Kluger, lecturer in management, analyze the unspoken nuances of navigating the world of business as a woman.
