Steven Ward is Assistant Professor of International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge. He is the author of Status and the Challenge of Rising Powers (Cambridge University Press, 2017), and his work has appeared in a range of journals, including International Security, International Studies Quarterly, Security Studies, and The European Journal of International Relations. He holds a PhD in Government and an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University.
